Honestly, it took me this long to get to it cause I thought it would be a sword harem with a girl, or way more towards rated R than it is. But I am super happy to have decided to give it a shot.

I love how Fran took those mercenaries down!!

I love how, instead of killing the guy, she cut off his legs for getting in her way.... the poetry in that act is succulent.

I liked how this episode demonstrated that Fran's strong is not solely due to Shishou, She's a very capable fighter on her own and a genius when it comes to quickly mastering new skills. It was so satisfying to see her cut that annoying mercenary's foot. They will never ever slander the Black cat tribe again. I'm so excited to see more of Fran and Shishou's adventure.

As someone who has already seen the show she gets more yucky with limbs

She has savant levels of adaptability... definitely the brains of the opperation.

She only strong due to the sword sharing his skills with her.

actually in a few episodes she holds her own against an A rank adventurer without his help

did the dubs mis-interpreted or mistranslated the japanese here?? I mean In the subs, her class says "spellsword". Here, it sounded they omitted the 's' in the sword. And, oh my word! This dub has too much profanity compared to the original.

Probably either unfamiliarity or a misspelling in the script due to a lack of proofreading

This mix, Master and Fran, or Fran and Master really works beautifully. Fran and Master individual characteristics really compliment each other's strengths. Together they become stronger with a purpose 👍👍👍. Fantastic, looking forward to more!!!

She did get a leg up from her master, and reading about the black cat tribe hate, it seems like he keeps giving her the leg up beyond what she'd be able to... but she is the brains able to take what he teaches and apply it with such ingenuity that those skills go far beyond what the sword could pull off solo as well.
